Chris Boicelli

Chris Boicelli is an OCD Specialist and Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) at The Gateway Institute in Seattle, Washington. He brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for helping individuals navigate through life’s challenges with compassion and expertise.

Chris received his undergraduate degree in general psychology from Capella University and has completed his master’s degree in clinical psychology. He has diligently honed his skills through various clinical internships, including those at Eastside Counseling Center and The Gateway Institute, where he completed his internship.

Chris focuses on providing specialized treatment for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), related anxiety disorders, and depression. His therapeutic approach is comprehensive, drawing from evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Exposure Therapy (ET), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). Whether working with children, teenagers, or adults, Chris is dedicated to guiding his clients toward a deeper understanding of themselves and their struggles.
