Anna Liljenwall

Anna Liljenwall is the Client Relations Manager at The Gateway Institute and has been with the company since November 2023. She has been working in the mental health field since 2012 and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University. Additionally, she is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Social Work with the intention to specialize in treating OCD and related disorders in the future.

She is incredibly passionate about the mental health community and making a difference after experiencing OCD, a panic disorder, and Agoraphobia firsthand. Following her diagnosis in 2010, Anna received specialized treatment and now uses her experiences to support others personally and professionally.

She has spoken on and hosted recovery focused podcasts as well as shared her personal story at conferences such as OCDSocal’s Annual Conference and at the International OCD Foundation’s Annual Conference. Anna takes pride in her personal recovery and finds a lot of empowerment in sharing it with others.
